Dr. Ananda Raj Joshi » Dr. Ananda Raj Joshi is one of the distinguished Environmental Management Experts and Former Director General of South Asia Co-operative Environment Programme (SACEP) and South Asian Seas Programme (SAS), Sri Lanka. » Dr. Joshi obtained Masters Degree in Botany from Tribhuvan University, Post graduate in Environment Conservation from Technical University, Germany, and in Environmental Management from University College, Cardiff UK, Ph.D in Environmental Management from University of Wales UK, D.Sc. in Indigenous Knowledge and Sustainable Management of Natural Resources from Sri Lanka. » Major Areas of Professional Experiences: Environmental Planning, Environmental Management, Environmental Impact Assessment, Biodiversity Assessment and Conservation, Ethnobotany, Sustainable Management of Natural Resources, Environmental Administration and Project Management, Environmental Policy and Sustainable Development. » At present, he is the president of Environmentalist's Association of Nepal (EAN). » Dr. Joshi is also one of the pioneer modern poets of Nepal Bhasa.
