He did schooling from St Xavier School securing Board 8th position in SLC and completed O and A Level from Budhanilkanth School. He was declared as best student of the year for achieving top rank in A level. He studied Bachelor of Arts in Physics, Williams College and Bachelor of Engineering with honor from Tau Beta Pl, Dartmouth College, USA. He then did Master in Engineering Management at Dartmouth College and Tuck School of Business, USA.
